What we use

Tailr keeps its footprint small. We only use two categories of local browser storage, and neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

• Strictly-necessary auth session: when you sign in, our auth provider (Supabase) stores a session token in your browser so you don’t have to sign in on every page. Removing this signs you out.
• Functional local storage: guest projects, template preferences, and editor draft state live in your browser’s local storage. Technically these aren’t cookies, but people usually lump them together — so it’s worth calling out. Nothing here leaves your device unless you sign in and explicitly save.

What we don’t use

• No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No behavioral analytics that follow you across sites.
• No social-plugin cookies from Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.

How to control cookies

Every major browser lets you inspect and clear cookies and local storage from its site-data settings. Clearing Tailr’s site data will sign you out and delete any guest projects that haven’t been saved to an account. Signed-in projects live on our servers and are unaffected.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add analytics, embedded video, or any other feature that would introduce new cookies, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above before rolling the change out.
