Purpose of Position The Regional Property Operations Manager will lead Housing Alexandria’s workforce and affordable LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) portfolio, with a focus on strong team leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, and resident experience. This role partners closely with the Regional Leasing and Compliance Manager to achieve occupancy and financial goals while fostering safe, positive, and supportive communities. The Regional Property Operations Manager oversees community management teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality operations across the portfolio. The ideal candidate is financially savvy, knowledgeable in LIHTC compliance, an analytical problem-solver, and an empathetic leader who builds strong teams and resident relationships. This position reports directly to the COO. Primary Responsibilities Team Leadership • Build, coach, and manage property operations teams across the portfolio that prioritize consistent quality, legal compliance, contribute to a positive culture, and meet safety and customer service standards. • Manage team member performance, oversee trainings and development, and complete performance evaluations. • Partner with the Regional Leasing and Compliance Manager to establish community standards, team collaboration, and reporting expectations. • Collaborate with leadership to develop annual business plans and team quarterly goals. • Provide regional leadership during significant property incidents, emergencies, or resident concerns and coordinate appropriate response with internal teams, vendors, and external partners. • Collaborate with leadership to strategize team growth, recruiting, selection, onboarding, and team retention. • Review property performance regularly with Community Managers and establ
