About this role

At Pearson, we’re redefining how educators understand and act on student learning. As a member of the Measurement & Learning Product Management team, within Pearson’s School Assessment organization, the Product Specialist serves as a critical bridge between Product Management, Professional Learning, Product Support, and Partner Success. This role aligns to industry level titles such as Product Manager, K12 Assessment, or Product Manager, Classroom Assessment This role combines responsibilities traditionally associated with product enablement and product management. Product Specialists are recognized as subject matter experts in assigned PALS products and are responsible for translating product capabilities into clear, scalable training, support, and go-to-market assets. They also play an active role in product discovery and delivery by gathering requirements, facilitating design discussions, documenting workflows, and helping shape solutions that address educator and district needs. Working closely with senior-level Product Managers, Product Specialists help ensure products are well understood, effectively adopted, and continuously improved. The Product Specialist helps bring roadmap strategies to life through customer insight, requirements definition, product documentation, and enablement.
