About this role
About Us Most local business owners spend money on marketing every month and can't tell you what it brings back. We started Black Mast Marketing to fix that. We find a business's best customers, go get more of them, and show the owner exactly what every dollar returned. Clients stay month to month, and every plan comes with written guarantees. We would rather earn the next month than lock anyone in. About The Role This is a sales job. You find local business owners, talk with them, figure out whether we can help, and move them to a close. Nobody hands you leads and nobody closes for you. Every client you sign is yours from the first conversation to the signed agreement. Most of your week is prospecting and selling to business owners around Buford and Greater Atlanta: finding them, reaching out, and running your sales conversations over the phone and on Zoom. You use your own tools and your own lead sources. The one thing we require is that you report your activity and deals in Quartermaster, so we both know where every deal stands. Once a client signs, our team takes over onboarding and the work, and you go find the next one. You set your own schedule. We ask for at least 20 hours a week, and the selling is done remotely. The only in-person time is training in Buford. How We Work You sell three plans with published prices: Sailor, Navigator and Captain. There are no custom quotes to chase and no surprises for the client. We help you get started with some training on the offer, and after that how you sell is up to you. Our clients see their results in Quartermaster, so when an owner asks whether this will actually work, you can show them how we measure it. Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor role, paid on commission only. There is no base pay, no hourly pay and no draw, and we want that clear before you apply. You earn 30% of each new client's first month, with a $500 minimum per client: • Sailor ($1,500 a month): $500 • Navigator ($4,500 a month): $1,
