About this role
Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care on a 26-bed medical floor, primarily caring for adults with respiratory, cardiac, and sepsis diagnoses, including observation patients. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and coordinating with healthcare team members. The RN supervises LPNs and CNAs, participates in clinical conferences, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations. Qualifications & Skills • BSN from an accredited program or equivalent experience. • Current Montana RN license and BLS certification. • Preferred certification in practice area. • Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. • Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and navigate busy clinical environments. Key Duties • Assess and address both psychological and physical patient needs. • Develop individualized treatment plans and document care according to guidelines. • Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and team members. • Oversee and evaluate the delivery of patient care. • Participate in team meetings and adhere to professional standards and policies.
