About this role

Description Join Leidos' Digital Sector as we stand up a brand-new Agile development team at the forefront of federal IT modernization, delivering real digital transformation where it matters most. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to architect, build, and integrate cutting-edge infrastructure solutions in support of some of our nation's most sensitive and critical missions. What to expect: • Early-stage flexibility with partial telework during initial development phases • Full-time on-site presence at secure facility in Washington, DC will be required as the program matures • A collaborative, Agile environment where your input shapes the architecture from day one • Dev platform based on ServiceNow, Elastic, Kafka, AWS and RedHat What you'll need: • An active TS/SCI clearance (required for consideration) • Willingness to complete and maintain additional customer suitability screenings throughout employment • Current Security+ certification or higher/equivalent Primary Responsibilities: • Develop automated CI/CD build/deployment pipelines using Jenkins (CloudBees), Artifactory, Kubernetes (OpenShift), Docker, Ansible and Bitbucket. • Assist with the deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, updates/upgrades of Kafka and Elastic clusters and environments. • Configure applications to integrate network data into an Elastic (ELK) stack hosted in an AWS cloud environment. • Configure applications in accordance to meet DoD security standards, including DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). • Develop, and maintain centralized dashboards and observability solutions to monitor application health, performance, availability, security posture, infrastructure utilization, and cloud spend across environments. • Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and automation using metrics, logs, traces to improve incident detection, operational visibility, root cause analysis, and system reliability. • Implement cloud and infrastructure cost o
