About this role
Fast Growing Manufacturing operation that supplies materials to the Semiconductor industry seeks a qualified Accountant to support and grow as the Company expands its manufacturing operations. In addition to assuming responsibility for traditional full-charge accounting tasks, this person will assist the company’s Operations Manager in executing operational duties related to both purchasing and order entry. More broadly, the successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for supporting operational success and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Operations Accountant will report to the Company’s CEO, but take day-day direction from the its CFO and, as needed, its Operations Manager, and will in turn be supported by the Company’s Administrative Assistant. As the Company grows over time and its management team differentiates, this position may hold the potential to mature into the Company’s Controllership. Educational Requirements: · College degree with an accounting major, business major with a significant concentration in accounting, or equivalent required. Skill Requirements: · Proficiency with basic office productivity applications (e.g., MS Office, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, email, and online meeting tools) required, especially spreadsheet tools for budgeting and forecasting. · Proficiency with computerized accounting programs for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, sand general ledger transactional processing, as well as cash management, revenue recognition, and financial statement preparation, required. · Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly when communicating with others. · Ability to work independently in completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision, identify process improvement opportunities and recommend s
