About this role
TekSystems is currently hiring for an open enrollment specialist in the Elkridge, MD area! MUST HAVE: 1-2 years of medical customer service/call center, or 1 year of strong call center, or any open enrollment experience! Description TEKsystems is currently seeking candidates to assist with our customers Open Enrollment period located in the Baltimore metro area. The successful candidate will respond to phone inquiries regarding healthcare eligibility and coverage questions. Must be able to decipher complex eligibility information from a variety of electronic sources quickly, and deliver them courteously and effectively to our largely senior membership population. This is a high volume call center position subject to high production and quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications The individual we seek must possess 1+ years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred), a demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, and be PC proficient in a windows environment. Must be able to work between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm (they will be places on an 8am-4pm or 10:00-6 shift) they will not be able to choose the shift so they have to be ok with those hours. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Elkridge, MD. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
