We are seeking an energetic Academic Generalist to join a dynamic team supporting higher education operations within a premier university environment in Washington, D.C. In this contract position, you will serve as a central operational point of contact, ensuring smooth daily management across department programs, academic scheduling, and faculty services. This hybrid role (3 days on-campus, 2 days remote) offers a 40-hour workweek with flexibility to adjust for special campus events. If you bring 2–5 years of university or administrative experience and thrive in a fast-paced academic setting where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you! salary: $27 - $28 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Academic & Course Operations: Coordinate and manage course schedules for assigned departments and academic programs, ensuring accurate timing and space allocation. • Talent Onboarding: Facilitate hiring, onboarding, and class assignment processes for faculty members and collegian employees. • Campus Event Logistics: Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for campus events, guest lectures, and departmental programs. • Financial & Administrative Support: Manage daily financial operations, including processing office supply orders, facilitating vendor purchase order (PO) workflows, and preparing faculty expense reimbursements. • General Administrative Coverage: Provide comprehensive daily administrative support, handling inquiries and troubleshooting operational needs across the academic portfolio. Requirements & Schedule • Experience: 2–5 years of administrative experience; prior background in higher education or academic administration is strongly preferred. • Assignment Duration: 2–3 month contract. • Schedule: Hybrid structure (3 days on-campus per week, 40 hours/week) with flexibility to adjust schedu
