About this role
Responsibilities: IT Project Planning & Lifecycle Management • Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of complex IT projects, from initial concept and requirements definition through planning, execution, implementation, and final closure. • Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project management artifacts, including project plans, scoping documents, schedules, resource plans, project estimates, status reports, and meeting agendas. • Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and performance expectations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and organizational priorities. • Prepare and refine detailed work plans, project schedules, resource allocations, and cost estimates to support effective project execution. • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or challenges, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and delivery objectives. • Ensure project activities and deliverables are completed in accordance with established timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations. Stakeholder Engagement & Team Coordination • Lead and facilitate program and project team meetings, coordinating with government stakeholders, technical teams, and organizational leadership. • Serve as a key point of coordination between project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. • Develop and distribute weekly project status updates, meeting agendas, action items, and other project-related documentation. • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure clear understanding of project priorities, responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables. • Identify and address stakeholder concerns, competing priorities, and organizational challenges that could impact project execution. • Provide regular project performance updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to government leadership and key stakeholders.
