About this role
HMG Careers has openings for Remote Sales Representatives. You will work entirely from home, meeting clients over Zoom to review their insurance needs and help them enroll in cover that works for them. All appointments come from leads we supply. Nobody here cold calls. The role is full-time and built as a career rather than a stopgap. Representatives who do well move into senior and management positions, and the company fills those roles internally. Day to day • Calling supplied leads and scheduling video consultations • Listening to what clients need and explaining suitable options • Walking people through enrollment from start to finish • Maintaining relationships with clients after the sale • Working to monthly objectives set with your manager • Attending coaching sessions and team meetings online Requirements • Must hold an insurance licence or be willing to obtain one, with our support • Must communicate clearly and build trust quickly over video • Must be open to coaching and new skills • Must have a laptop or desktop computer. Tablets and Chromebooks are not accepted • Must be computer literate at a basic level • Must live in the United States or Canada, outside Quebec, and speak fluent English • Sales or customer service history is preferred, not required What you can earn Compensation comes through commission and bonuses. Team averages are above $67,000 for a first year and $118,000 for a second, with renewal income on top as policies stay on the books. Actual earnings vary with individual performance and production.
