Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform / DevOps Location: Arlington, VA – Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite/Week Duration: 12+ Months Contract Interview: 2 Rounds – Technical & Behavioral Work Authorization: Open based on client requirements Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platform / DevOps to join a high-performing Platform Engineering team supporting enterprise-scale software delivery and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on software engineering experience combined with CI/CD, cloud, DevOps, automation, and platform engineering expertise. This role will focus on building scalable applications, reusable engineering frameworks, developer tools, deployment pipelines, and cloud-native services that improve engineering productivity and accelerate software delivery. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, APIs, services, and cloud-native solutions. • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. • Develop reusable frameworks, internal platforms, libraries, and developer productivity tools. • Drive cloud modernization and automation initiatives across engineering teams. • Work with AWS and/or Azure to design and deploy highly available, scalable solutions. • Implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. • Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies. • Contribute to architectural decisions involving scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and maintainability. • Develop APIs, distributed services, and enterprise-scale platform capabilities. • Automate SDLC/PDLC processes and identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency. • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and platform/DevOps teams. • Mentor engineers and promote software engineering and DevOps best practices. • Evaluate
