About this role
Position Overview The Senior Manager, Digital Analytics is a senior individual contributor within Marriott’s Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI organization, responsible for shaping how analytics informs digital product strategy and investment decisions. This role partners closely with Digital Product, Technology, and Engineering leaders to understand business goals, define success metrics, and proactively guide analytical focus toward the highest-impact opportunities. Acting as a trusted strategic advisor, the Senior Manager moves beyond reporting to frame ambiguous problems, assess tradeoffs, and translate data into clear, executive-ready recommendations. Success in this role requires strong technical analytics expertise combined with exceptional executive communication and the ability to influence product direction through insight, storytelling, and informed judgment. Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field • 6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven strategy roles • Demonstrated experience supporting customer-facing digital products, platforms, or technology-enabled experiences. • Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with functional leadership responsibility • Proficiency with analytics and data tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Adobe Analytics, BI platforms such as Tableau) • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience influencing senior stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify business and product questions and shape analytical agendas • Experience partnering closely with engineering or platform teams on data-informed strategy Preferred Qualifications • Experience applying statistical methods (e.g., hypothesis testing, segmentation, regression, trend analysis) to business problem solving • Hands-on experience using Python and/or R to support analysis and insight generation • Experience supporti
