Clinical Customer Service Rep – Ortho Trauma Surgery. Full Time – Evening shift – 40 hours The Clinical Customer Service Representative works as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and members of the health care team. This is a fast-paced position that requires professional, friendly and efficient performance of the daily duties. The ideal candidate will possess the highest level of Customer Service skills, knowledge of information & computer systems, the ability to work and assist with Nursing staff & Administrative staff, all in the effort to meet the needs of the unit, department in accordance to Johns Hopkins Hospital policy and procedures. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting • Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff. • Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred. • Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.
