Job Title: Staff Accountant (On Site Bethesda, MD) Location: 4849 Rugby Ave Bethesda, MD 20814 Employment Type: FT W2 Salaried Compensation: $60,000-$75,000 annual CareTalk Health CareTalk Health is a virtual medical practice that specializes in Clinical Process Outsourcing (CPO). We partner with healthcare organizations to build and manage patient and member populations. About the Role CareTalk Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and financial operations. The Staff Accountant will work directly with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), assisting with daily accounting activities, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger support. This role provides hands-on exposure to healthcare finance and accounting operations while offering mentorship from a CPA with extensive experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, eager to learn, and interested in pursuing a long-term career in accounting and finance. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST In Office at the Bethesda, MD location What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities • Daily Accounting Operations • Review and process daily financial transactions imported into QuickBooks Online (QBO) • Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and properly categorized • Assist with maintaining organized financial documentation and records • Cash Management & Deposits • Scan and deposit paper checks received in the office • Verify deposit accuracy and maintain supporting documentation • Assist with cash receipt tracking and reconciliation • General Ledger Support • Prepare and post journal entries in QuickBooks Online • Assist with maintaining the integrity of the general ledger • Suppo
