Mission | On Site | Full Time | U.S. Citizenship Required / No Active Clearance Required Role Summary We are seeking the first full-time Accounting hire on our growing Finance and Operations team. We are headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area with a second office adjacent to Penn Station in New York City. New York candidates will play a key role in building this presence for the company and will have the opportunity to visit colleagues in Washington, D.C. often. This role is central to our core business operations, focused on establishing and managing efficient and audit-ready financial processes. You will own the foundational financial workflows essential for a high-growth software company, managing today’s business requirements while anticipating the requirements for scale. AI-native tools will factor heavily into how you build the function. This role will be of high interest to candidates with Big 4 (or equivalent) audit experience, high-growth startup accounting experience, and a passion for or interest in the defense technology and cybersecurity industries. You thrive in unstructured environments, and you enjoy the vast opportunity space to improve operations
