About this role

Securiport is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with an active CPA license to support financial reporting and internal controls, global reconciliations, and payment operations. This role will prepare quarterly financial summaries and variance reports, reconcile monthly expenses and revenue, and execute domestic and international payments, including wire transfers and foreign currency transactions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience with international accounting operations, and a commitment to accurate reporting and financial controls. Responsibilities • Quarterly Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial summaries and variance analysis reports, explaining key differences between actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods. • Global Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly expenses across international operations, ensuring accurate coding, allocation, supporting documentation, and timely resolution of discrepancies. • Revenue and Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile revenue and expense accounts to the general ledger, investigate discrepancies, and prepare necessary adjustments. • Payment Execution: Prepare and execute approved payments, verifying payment details, supporting documentation, and required authorizations. • Wire and Foreign Exchange Transfers: Coordinate domestic and international wire transfers and foreign currency payments, confirming beneficiary information, exchange rates, fees, and settlement details. • Month-End and Quarter-End Close: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial close. • Financial Controls: Follow established approval procedures and maintain complete records of reconciliations, payments, and transfers. • Audit Support: Provide documentation and respond to requests from internal stakeholders and external auditors. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and payment e
