This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level IV trauma facility with an annual volume of approximately 11,500 patients. The role requires working night shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday rotations. The ER team manages a 10-bed emergency department staffed by experienced RNs and is trained in patient triage and splinting procedures. Job Details • Shift Time: Nights • Shift Hours: 12 • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 • Required Qualifications: MI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS Certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; Location in the specified region; Minimum of 2+ years Emergency Department experience • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing • Additional Information: • Unit operates with 2 RNs covering 10 beds with additional overlap of 2-4 hours • Emergency Department staff trained in ECI Triage and splinting • Scrubs: Any color • The contract includes holiday rotation every other week • The facility may require ICU float but it is not mandatory • The team is equipped to accommodate low census periods, with opportunity for call-ins and call back pay • Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, which counts toward unbillable hours • The start date is 09/14/2026, with a end date of 12/12/2026 Benefits • The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: • Private housing or generous housing allowance • Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage • Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage • Competitive salaries • Referral bonuses •
