About Walmart Customer Service The Walmart Customer Service desk is the problem-solving command center of every store — handling returns, exchanges, price disputes, layaway pickups, money orders, wire transfers, bill payments, and the constant stream of customer questions that do not fit neatly into any single department's responsibility. Customer Service Associates need patience, policy knowledge, and the ability to turn frustrated shoppers into satisfied customers — often resolving issues in under two minutes while a line of additional customers waits behind them. Position Overview Walmart is hiring Customer Service Associates to manage the service desk at Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations. You will process returns and exchanges, handle money services transactions, answer customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and support front end operations including self-checkout monitoring. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure.
