Job Description Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Postpartum Unit. This role will be Full-time Night Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. | Relocation Available Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities: • Provides skilled, compassionate care and coordinates patient care. • Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team. • Delivers patient/family-centered care in a holistic manner. • Respects diversity and integrates knowledge, skills, and experience to meet patient needs. • Utilizes effective communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making to achieve optimal patient outcomes. • Conducts health assessments and formulates individualized care plans. • Delivers patient/family-centered care to address patient needs. • Advocates for patients’ rights and resolves issues to ensure quality outcomes. • Coordinates care across disciplines, ensuring effective transitions. • Documents patient care activities and assists team members. • Evaluates care processes and adjusts plans based on patient progress. • Makes clinical decisions based on data, experience
