We are seeking exceptional talent who is ready to blossom their careers with an exceptional health care system! What makes our Graduate Nurse / Nurse Residency Program different from others? Our graduate nurse program is comprised of four complementary components: • Hospital & Nursing Orientation: a multi-day introduction to our organization • Unit Orientation: 12-20 week competency-based orientation program • Mentorship: 3+ month peer support program • Nurse Residency Program: 12-month professional development coursework Our program is designed to introduce the graduate and novice nurse into the practice arena with sensitivity to the ever-changing dynamics in our world and environment. With all the stressors inherent to a new job or role, we have purposefully introduced changes to our program to allow a more gradual immersion – with the result being a more confident and satisfied practitioner. Our CAP program (Clinical Advancement Program) offers Nurses the opportunity to advance both in recognition and financial reward. Minimum Qualifications: Required: • Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame. • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse (or licensed prior to hire). • BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association). • Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities. • Competency in electronic patient management systems.
