About this role

• 1-year contract, renewable • Government project • Hybrid work arrangement RESPONSIBILITY: • Drive business outcomes by taking on a product from end (problem definition) to end (release and continuous improvement) • Interview stakeholders and users to understand problem space and define problem statement. • Craft proposals to justify resource allocations and secure funding. • Define success measures and set up dashboards to monitor progress. • Identify hypotheses, develop product strategy, and devise initiatives to drive product outcomes. • Create product roadmap and work with team to ensure timely achievement of goals. • Work with designers, software engineers to develop, test and release product. • Measure outcomes and continuously iterate product to drive outcomes. • Engage with and support users to drive product adoption. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED: • Proven record of driving business outcomes. • 7 years of experience working with design and engineering teams to build products. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to effectively manage high level stakeholders. • Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure and prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines. • Experience with platforms like Confluence, JIRA, Balsamiq are a plus. • Computer science, product management related degrees or diplomas are a plus. • Certifications like Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Analysis Professional are a plus.
