About this role

Job Description Job Summary: The Government Services Client Marketing Manager plays a critical role in advancing the success of BDO's energy portfolio by leading the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across multiple statewide programs. This role partners closely with clients to assess marketing needs, define goals, and design actionable roadmaps that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Working collaboratively with Program Managers and cross-functional teams, the incumbent provides strategic guidance, translates complex marketing concepts into practical solutions, and ensures marketing efforts are aligned with program objectives and client outcomes. This position requires travel to client locations up to 20% of the time. Job Duties: • Partners with clients to assess the current marketing landscape across the full customer journey, including lead generation, conversion, customer acquisition, retention, and performance measurement • Applies subject matter expertise to design, implement, and optimize strategic marketing campaigns that align with program goals and client priorities • Identifies near-, mid-, and long-term objectives and collaborate with clients and Program teams to develop actionable plans that advance those goals • Develops client-specific strategic frameworks and recommend targeted marketing initiatives to address defined business needs and opportunities • Defines, scopes, and documents business requirements for marketing campaigns and related initiatives to support successful execution • Manages consulting-related business objectives, meeting budget expectations, maintaining portfolio profitability, and delivering high-quality client work in accordance with project scope • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and other BDO service lines to deliver scoped consulting support, strengthen integrated project execution, and promote overall client success • Stays current on industry trends, em
