The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill a SWM Project Manager and Levee Manager (Administrative Specialist 2G) grade G31 position, in the Office of Storm Drain Maintenance. About The Position This position provides management and supervisory support for flood control and stormwater infrastructure projects, working closely with the Associate Director of the Office of Storm Drain Maintenance (OSDM). This is a highly responsible, technical administrative role focused on the oversight and regulatory compliance for critical flood control and stormwater management infrastructure Responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and operations for flood-pump stations, levee systems, and stormwater facilities. Key duties include managing inspections, state and federal compliance, corrective actions, emergency readiness, inspections and maintenance programs, as well as coordinating with internal and external partners. The role requires strong project management, technical, and communication skills, as well as experience in supervising and developing staff and working independently.
